After five days of painting and tiling in the basement, I needed to get back to art. I decided to do a quick painting of a nude lady in her room. It took around an hour to do and I really enjoyed the fast work. I like the way the room seems to vibrate around her, in celebration of her loveliness.

The Wrong Kind of Painting

I have been doing a lot of painting lately, unfortunately, it has been the wall, doors, and woodwork kind. Our daughters have fled the nest, and we are in the process of redoing our basement, or as we like to call it, the lower level luxury suite, in the Brauker Towers.

I hope to be able to start my oil painting again in a couple of days, until then, I will be posting some paintings that I did the last couple of weeks, but haven't had time to upload yet.
