As we get closer to the end of summer, I thought it would be a good time to think again about sunny skies, warm water, and a lovely woman on the beach.
I love eagles. There is a nest a short distance from my home
and I have spent many hours, watching and taking photos of them. This was
painted in thick, bold strokes to represent the power and majesty of our
national symbol.
This combines two of my favorite subjects to paint, a nude and an iconic western landscape. This was the most difficult painting I have done to photograph. It changes colors some in relation to the amount of light in the room. My reason for mentioning that is I have tried to get the color as accurate as possible. The real thing, as always, is better than any photo.

Happy are the painters, for they shall not be lonely. Light and color, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end of the day. --Winston Churchill--
