Anne Hathaway's Cottage, is in Shottery, England, which lies a mile west of Stratford-upon-Avon. It is the home of William Shakespeare's wife, Anne. As a young man, William came here to court his future wife. It is a beautiful place with the most amazing gardens. I have visited it on two different trips, and it is one of those places you just don't want to miss. While standing in the low-ceilinged rooms, you can almost imagine William and Anne sitting close to the fireplace.
