Tintagel

Tintagel
8 x 10 inches
Oil on wood panel.

Tintagel Castle is the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, located in Cornwall, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast of England. The ruins of the castle are still visible on the upper left. The large building on the right in the background is the Camelot Castle Hotel. It in itself is an interesting place. I stayed there several years ago, in a room with large windows affording incredible views of the Atlantic. Tintagel is a magical, mystical place. If you ever get the chance, go there.

Beautiful compositions and feeling here Bill. And yes, it captures absolutely the magical atmosphere of Tintagel.
