This is my lovely wife, Anne, (who is an artist, herself) in the Denver Art Museum, closely inspecting, Portrait of a Young Lady, c. 1620, by Paul Van Somer, a Dutch artist. I loved the color of the room and the way the light played on the gold frame.


Sorry about the photos. I shot a number of them, but it was very difficult to get it right. The true color of the painting is somewhere between the two.
