This is a scene from the trail up Deer Mountain, in Rocky Mountain National Park, near Estes Park, Colorado. I was snowshoeing in the morning and the thick cover of pines, cast wonderful blue shadows across the snow. This was between the 9000 and 1000 foot level.5x7 inches
