This painting was inspired by Ashleigh, a lovely young woman from Ontario, Canada, who has a fashion blog, http://rantingsofafashionaddict.blogspot.com/. I noticed a photo she had taken of herself in her room, and I thought it full of mystery and interesting light. She graciously allowed me to use the image. Thank you so much for that, Ashleigh.

Lovely Bill - strong shapes, wonderfully "drenched" colour, so full of quiet interest.
Very nice Bill. I like the light on her face and the background color. You sure come up with nice reference material to paint.
