Jefferson Memorial Nocturne

Jefferson Memorial Nocturne
5 x 7 inches
Oil on wood panel.

This was my latest piece created to share on the Different Strokes from Different Folks web site created by Karin Jurick. Check it out. Lot's of interpretations of the same image.

This one was a joy to paint. Oh how I love Prussian blue.

I mix Prussian Blue with Garbozole Violet, to make a great Ultramarine Blue Dark.

Paint mixing aside, nice work. Would love to paint in DC sometime.

Bill,
I'm especially fond of nocturnals. They are such a fun challenge. This one is especially nice.
Love,

Love love love your night sky. I am learning so much with this challenge. One of the most important is how much I still have to learn! LOL
